What to do after a fantasy tone
I have a fantasy color, now what do I do?
We agree that fantasy colors are here to stay and they look amazing, but there are some things you should know about them so you can keep your amazing color without dying trying.
As we talked about in another topic on the blog, fantasy shades are semi-permanent dyes, that is, they only deposit color on the cuticle, which is why they tend to fade much faster and require much more maintenance.
If you are still deciding which tone best suits you or your personality, you should know that you need a high lightening base for vibrant and colorful tones. In the case of our AQarellas Mousse you have the option of combining them with each other to create the tone. Whichever you like best, just check that the lightening background is correct, here we leave you what shades can be left depending on the bleaching stage.
Now that you have chosen your tone, you should know that these jobs need extra care so that your look has an impact for longer.
- Always remember to put your hair in the hands of a professional
- AQarellas have a lifespan of approximately 15 washes, so it is recommended that you wash your hair every third day.
- Avoid showers with very hot water
- Excessive use of swimming pools (in addition to the fact that chlorine can alter the tone)
- Use post-dye shampoo and conditioner at Nekane we have the colora line.
- Super important if you are already bored with the color, DO NOT COVER IT, better discover what combinations you can do to refresh your look with some other tone.
Here we leave you some combinations using AQarella Mousse in case you want to change the tone or play with the combinations once the color has been washed off.
VIOLET: you can jump to a red combination with red or to a blue by applying an AQarella,
MAGENTA: you can jump to an orange, red, or violet.
RED: with this tone we cannot play much except for having a good wash, you can only go to an orange.
BLUE: with this tone you can wear a violet or a green, the shade of green will depend on your color flight
YELLOW: with this tone you can reach various shades, pink, orange, green, turquoise
SILVER: with this tone you can go to any tone you want except the yellow tone.
So if you are one of those who experiments a lot with colors, we recommend leaving the blue or red tones last.
Did you know that you can also create pastel tones, remember that for these tones you need a lightening level of 9 or 10 and here we leave you the formula to create these tones with the help of keratin and collagen.
It is also okay that one day you will say no more fantasy colors and change your look. Do you know what to do in these cases?
Here we tell you that you can always remember to go to a professional
You can apply a 000 or bleach to clean the color, the use of one or the other will mark the fade of your fantasy tone and the quality of your hair.
Depending on your wash, you can apply a global tone, always respecting the basic rules of colorimetry, for example, that dye does not lighten dye.
Whatever your final decision, we recommend that you NEVER want to cover the fading of a fantasy dye with a black tone.
